Market Days

There is a market held on every single day of the week and all are within easy reach of Casalba.  The markets here start early and stallholders tend to start packing up around 1pm.

  • Monday: Cupramontana
  • Tuesday: Villa Strada &  Moie
  • Wednesday: Jesi & Macerata
  • Thursday: Staffolo & Appignano
  • Friday: Filottrano
  • Saturday: Cingoli & Jesi
  • Sunday: Apiro

These are general markets selling fruit and vegetables, cheese and salumi, flowers and plants, clothes and household goods.  Don’t expect anything fancy.  Do expect good quality seasonal fruit and vegetables at fair prices.

There is usually also a porchetta stand which you can eat as a sandwich on the spot, or take home for lunch.  (Ask for the crackling:  “pelle”.)

Mummuiola: 5kms

San Paolo 9kms
