These are general markets selling fruit and vegetables, cheese and salumi, flowers and plants, clothes and household goods. Don’t expect anything fancy. Do expect good quality seasonal fruit and vegetables at fair prices.
There is usually also a porchetta stand which you can eat as a sandwich on the spot, or take home for lunch. (Ask for the crackling.)
